It all started when I was looking for something to help with my aches and pains. I have been doing some form of martial arts since I was 6 years old and now that I am in my mid 40’s it has caught up to me. For the last 10 years, I have been doing Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu and it is rough on the body…
My biggest problem, not the only problem, was that my hands always hurt. The best way I can explain it is I had an “arthritic feeling” in my hands and they always seemed swollen and in pain. I tried many different options to remedy this including:
- Over the counter pain meds (e.g. Aspirin, Aleve, Tylenol, etc.)
- Fish oils
- And many other “joint pain” supplements
To get the best everyday feeling I was combining multiple supplements as well as some sort of Anti-Inflammatory NSAID, such as Aspirin or Ibuprofen. Taking too much of NSAID’s can cause ulcers and bleeding in the stomach as well as damage your liver. This is what led me to begin my search for something new.
I came across CBD and at first I was skeptical, but I figured it could not hurt to try seeing it feels like I have tried everything else. Within about one week, I started to notice a difference and then slowly weaned off the other supplements I was taking. Once off all the other supplements I was amazed at the results and loved waking up in the morning without my hands hurting and stiff. I let some time go by just to make sure this was not a placebo effect and then even stopped just to see if the pains would come back. I learned that CBD was in fact helping for my pains and in addition, it helped deal with stress by relaxing and calming me down.
After seeing what it did for me I started talking to others about it and soon others were trying CBD for various reasons all with positive results. One thing led to another and now we opened a store, and we are selling Full Spectrum CBD products ourselves. The best part of this is listening to our customers as they come back and tell us how great the products are and how much it has improved their life. It makes you feel good knowing you are helping people and that will fulfill us in this journey for years to come.
